Education Sense is a podcast by teachers, for teachers.

Join David and Isabel as they explore some of the big (and small) questions in the world of education. Sometimes we dive in and discuss a weighty tome that gets your pondering about some of theories behind education. Other times we interview an expert in the field and occasionally it’s just the two of us chatting about a topic that interests us. But, above all, we hope to give you some practical tips to deploy in the classroom and be a friendly voice on that long commute or weekend walk!

Education Sense was founded by teachers Aaron Huber, Ross Borthwick and David Marshall in 2022. In 2024, Isabel Rich joined the team and in 2025 the podcast’s name changed from The Rest is Education to its current name, Education Sense.
